How can I cancel an order at MISUMI?

You can cancel your order in our MyMISUMI customer portal, using the self-cancellation function (if the order or line item is eligible):

  • Log in to your MyMISUMI profile
  • Select an order from your 'Order Overview'
  • In the Order Detail View, click 'Modify / Cancel Order'
  • Select all or single line items, you wish to cancel
  • Click 'Cancel' and confirm your request

If the cancellation option is available, it can be completed directly online without contacting Customer Service. If a line is greyed out, it is not eligible for cancellation.

Please be aware that Meviy-products cannot be cancelled in general.

Can I return incorrectly ordered goods?

If you would like to return an item for personal reasons (e.g. incorrect order on your part)contact us via the MyMISUMI customer portal and we will check whether a return is possible as a gesture of goodwill:
  • Log in to your MyMISUMI-profile
  • Go to "Claims and Returns" in the menu bar on the left side under category "Services"
  • Select the category 'Return Goods'
  • In the drop down menu, please select the relevant order
  • Fill in the form.
 
These decisions are made on a case-by-case basis, depending on whether the parts are standard stock products, or have been especially manufactured for your order. It is not possible to return goods without contacting Customer Service first. Unapproved returns are shipped back to sender. If we agree for you to returns the goods, a restocking fee will apply (usually 20%) and you will need to pay for the return shipment. Who can request quotations from MISUMI?

Officially registered companies, traders and educational institutions can request quotations from MISUMI. To receive quotations, you must be registered as a "Corporate User", which you can do here. Enquires and orders from private individuals cannot be processed.

How can I request a quotation?

As a registered MISUMI customer, you can obtain your quotation requests via the online shop:
 
  • Log in to your MISUMI account
  • Then go to the MISUMI main page and click on the yellow Quote/Order button
  • Enter the necessary data: Part numbers, quantity, etc. and add the items to the shopping cart
  • Select the ‘Go to quotation’ option in the shopping basket
  • In the next step, check the address data for the billing & delivery address
  • Confirm your quotation request in the next step.
 
You will then receive your quote as a PDF by email and can also view it in your quotation overview the MyMISUMI customer portal after a short transmission time.

How long are MISUMI quotations valid?

The quotations are valid for 4 weeks from the date of issue. The validity may be shortened if the quotation contains items that must be requested separately from our suppliers, due to large quantities or special conditions from the supplier. You will be informed of this on the quotation or the order confirmation. The date of validity for each item is therefore shown next to the part number on the right.

Where can I find my quotation history?

You can find your quotation and order histories in the MyMISUMI customer portal. Here you can find and download past and pending quotations and orders:
 
  • Log in to your MyMISUMI profile
  • In the dashboard you will already find an overview of the most recent orders and quotations
  • click on To Quotes overview
Here you can find and download past and open quotations as PDF file.

Why cannot I create my quotation directly?

If you request items in the MISUMI online shop which are currently not in stock, your quotation request will be set 'on hold' by the system, until the supplier has confirmed the requested quantity and delivery date.
 
In cases like this, an error message highlighted in red appears in the quotation process. Please proceed as follows:
  • Use the displayed option Request for MISUMI
  • Enter the required quantity and the preferred delivery date and send the request. A reception number for your inquiry will be displayed.
 
It usually takes one working day to process the inquiry. As soon as you have received a response to your inquiry by email, you need to confirm it in the MyMISUMI customer portal:
  • Log in to your MyMISUMI profile
  • Go to ‘Inquiry List’ in the menu on the left-hand side
  • You will see an overview of the inquiries and can confirm the relevant ones.
  • Finalise your quotation request.
 
Afterwards, you will receive your quotation as a PDF via email and can also review it in your quotation history in the MyMISUMI customer portal after a short transmission time.

Can I order from MISUMI or request quotations without registration or as a private customer?

No, registration as a Corporate User is mandatory for ordering or requesting quotations from MISUMI. MISUMI is a purely B2B company (Business to Business), so it is not possible to register as a private individual. If you are registered as a CAD user, you can upgrade to a corporate account.

Who can register with MISUMI?

Any officially registered company, any trader, as well as educational institutions, can register as a Corporate User with MISUMI. This registration is a prerequisite for ordering from MISUMI or requesting quotations. Since MISUMI is purely a B2B company (Business to Business), it is not possible to register as a private customer.
 
When you register as a CAD user, you do not have to have a business. As a CAD user, you can view and download CAD files, but cannot order or request quotations.

How do I register with MISUMI?

Any officially registered company, business or educational institution can register with MISUMI as a Corporate User:
  • Enter your email address and submit the form
  • Confirm the activation link you will receive via email
  • Enter your personal details and choose a login ID and password
  • Choose whether you want to 1) create a new corporate account (if your company is not yet a MISUMI customer), or 2) add your user account to an existing corporate account (if your company is already a MIUSMI customer and you know the customer code).
    • for 1.) Enter your company details, check them in the next step and submit the registration.
    • for 2.) Enter the MISUMI customer number of your company, check your data in the next step and send the registration.
 
Your registration will be checked afterwards. You will be contacted if there are any further questions. Please be aware, when you chosse option 2.) your registration will not be approved by MISUMI, but by your company's internal administrator. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can then log in to your account and fully use it.
 
You can also register as a CAD user without a business. Enter your personal details, choose a login ID and password and complete the registration process. You can now download CAD data. Ordering or requesting quotations is not possible as a CAD user.
