Selection Support Information

1. How to Calculate Load

Calculate the maximum value of applicable load, and then select a caster with proper allowable load.
Note that the allowable load per unit is generally calculated based on the following formula in consideration of offset load and some shock.

Allowable load per unit	=	The maximum load value
		4 pcs. × 0.8 (Using 4 Casters)

2. Swivel/Fixed

Since a swivel caster can turn, select a swivel caster if a travel direction needs to be changed.
Fixed casters have no function to turn but have excellent running straightness.

3. Stopper

There are 2 types of stoppers: stopper that stops wheel rotation and stopper that stops turning (swivel lockable type).
To stop wheel rotation and turning at the same time, select the double lockable casters. The stopper of this product is of the double lockable type.
